- Suppresses reninangiotensin through non-Selective Beta -blokade
a1-adrenergic blocking activity

- Reduces the peripheral vascular resistance
INDICATION
- For mild-to- severe chronic heart failure of ischemic or cardiomyopathic origin (Usually in addition to diuretics, ACE inhibitors, and Digitalis)
- In left Ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infarction
- For the management of essential hypertension (as alone or in combination with other anti hypertensive agents, especially thiazide -type diuretics)
Dosage
- Heart failure - 3.215 mg Twice daily for 2 weeks
- Hypertension - 6.25 mg Twice daily
- Left Ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infarction 6.25mg Twice daily
