INDICATION
- For the short term treatment of moderate pain, especially following surgery.
- For the short term treatment of fever.
- For faster treatment of pain or fever when other routes of administration are not possible.
Dosage
- I.M ROUTE
- Adults : 2 to 4 ml every 4-6 hours or as directed by the physician.
- Children (Above 12 years / > 33 kg) : Up to 2 ml (300 mg) every 4 hours OR up to 3 ml (450 mg) every 6 hours
- Infants and Children (from 2- 12 years / > 33 kg) : Up to 0.5 to 1 ml (75 mg - 150 mg) every 4 hours OR up to 2 ml (300 mg every 4 to hours)
- I.V ROUTE
- Adults : 3 to 4 ml every 4-6 hours or as directed by the physician.
- Children (>50 kg) : Up to 3 ml (450 mg) every 6 hours OR up to 12 mg 15 mg/kg body weight.
- Children (Above 12 years / > 33 kg) : up to 3 ml (450 mg) every 6 hours OR up to 12 mg to 15 mg /kg body weight or as per physician's discretion.
